It was in March 2009 that I was afforded the great honour by Jaguar Julie of being invited to turn out to be the first recipient of the Journal of the Touring Squid. This related to a charity undertaking which Julie had conceived of, attempting to send a journal and t-shirt around the world through Squidoo members to the last word good thing about any variety of worldwide charities and charity initiatives. It was my pleasure to simply accept her invitation, to jot down in the journal and to have my photograph taken with the t-shirt and journal prior to passing the whole lot on to the subsequent participant.
